Privacy statement

At GanttPRO, your privacy protection is our priority. We strive to ensure your protection at all times, in all circumstances. This document explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard your personal data when you use our website, as well as services and applications created and managed by GanttRPO on other platforms.

What information we collect

We collect the following information: your full name, your email address, your phone number, your company name, your job title and role, сountry you are located in, your company size, industry your company belongs to.

How do we use the information we collect?

If you become a ganttpro.com user, we ask you to create your account using your email address or social media networks. Your personal information is collected and used for purposes including: creating an account, personalizing your experience, carrying out or responding to your requests, verifying your identity, improving our website, improving our customer services, communicating with you to help you better understand our tool and support you on the initial stage of using it.

Your information, whether public or private, will not be sold or exchanged. If you choose to subscribe for marketing emailing campaigns, the email address you provide for registering may be used to send you information about recent updates, occasional company news, related product or service information, etc. However, at any moment, you may restrict access to it and forbid us to use it for marketing purposes.

Gantt charts data and our use of log files

We store your Gantt chart data securely and only provide access by your security credentials or the security credentials of other GanttPRO users you chose to collaborate with. As an application, GanttPRO stores information on charts saved, descriptions, meta-data, and any other associated information required to provide a useful charting application. When you visit our site, we automatically log your computer's IP address, browser type, and access time. We utilize this information to conduct site performance evaluations, to see where visitors are coming from, and to keep track of click stream data (this is information about which screens our users visit on our site). This data helps us determine what content our members find most appealing so that we can maximize your enjoyment of the site and in GanttPRO application. Log files are not tied to personally identifiable information unless required by law. Users who do not register or log in as members may browse the site without providing any personal information.

How do we secure your information?

All ganttpro.com employees are required to take your personal information very seriously. The ID and password information is protected and our Web security is reviewed regularly. We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you register, create Gantt charts, and collaborate on projects with other GanttPRO users.

We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. To prevent your information from being read or changed while in transit and provide the strongest privacy and integrity protection, we use Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS).

How do we use cookies?

Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the sites or service providers systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information. We use cookies to understand and save your preferences for future visits. If you are not satisfied with it, you should delete our cookies once you have visited the site, or you should browse the site using your browser’s anonymous usage setting (called “Incognito” in Chrome, “InPrivate” for Internet Explorer, “Private Browsing” in Firefox and Safari). We only use this information for statistical analysis purposes, and then the data is removed from the system.

Pipedrive CRM

GanttPRO is a data processor

The personal information you share with us (your full name, your email address, your phone number, your company name, etc.) is your data subjects, and you are considered the data controller for this personal data. In our Privacy Policy, we refer to this data as Personal Information.

Using GanttPRO app means that you have engaged GanttPRO as a data processor to carry out certain processing activities on your behalf. The relationship between the controller and the processor needs to be made in writing according to Article 28 of the GDPR. The electronic form is acceptable under subsection (9) of the same Article. Our Privacy Policy also serves as your data processing agreement, setting out the instructions that you are giving to GanttPRO with regard to processing the personal data you control and establishing the rights and responsibilities of both parties. GanttPRO will only process your Personal Information based on your instructions as the data controller.

Do we disclose any information to outside parties?

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in business processes:

These partners assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you. They agree to keep customers’ information confidential and all of them are GDPR compliant.

We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect our or other rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

Controlling your personal information

You may choose to restrict the collection or use of your personal information in the following ways:
  • Whenever you are asked to fill in a form on our website, check the box to indicate that you do not want the information to be used by anybody for direct marketing purposes.
  • If you have previously agreed to us using your personal information for direct marketing purposes, you may change your mind at any time by writing to or emailing us at [email protected] or in your GanttPRO account: Profile Settings >> Notifications >> Notify me about special offers and updates >> uncheck.
  • When you no more need to use your GanttPRO account, your personal information will be automatically deleted at the moment you delete your account. To track this process, you may click “Delete my account” and see all the data we had about you. It will be deleted forever once you click “Continue deleting”.

If you filled in any web forms on our website without being logged into GanttPRO system, your personal data will be stored in our database for 6 months and then deleted. It can also be deleted earlier upon request to [email protected].

If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect, incomplete or should be removed, please, email as soon as possible at [email protected]. We will promptly delete or correct any information found to be incorrect.
